Joe grew up in the Forest of Dean then lived in Gloucester when he married his wife Kim. Together they now have four children, including the recent arrival of twins! In Gloucester, Joe and Kim led a small missional community linked with 24-7 Prayer, and Joe led various projects equipping youth ministry amongst city churches, and pioneering prayer spaces in schools throughout Gloucestershire.

Joe trained for ordained ministry at Trinity College in Bristol, before moving to the benefice in the summer of 2018. Joe is passionate about care for creation and is the Environmental Ambassador for the deanery. Joe also enjoys growing vegetables, watching movies, walking up mountains, drinking good coffee, listening to ocean waves, and the smell of freshly baked bread.
