Nigel moved to Gloucestershire in 1994 when he was posted with the Royal Air Force to RAF Innsworth. In 2009 he married his wife, Diane, and moved to Newnham. They have a blended family of four boys and have been blessed with seven grandchildren (so far!) – six wonderful boys and a beautiful granddaughter. 

Having retired from full time employment in 2017, Nigel undertook theological training at the Cuddesdon, Gloucester & Hereford (CGH) college and was licensed as a Reader in October 2020.  He is proud to serve the local community and is currently Chairman of Newnham Parish Council and the Newnham branch of the Royal British Legion.  Nigel has always enjoyed all sport, especially football, and was Chairman of Gloucester City Football Club between 2009 – 13.
